PERMANENT RESIDENCY : Category B
Before You Apply:
- Application applies to those with at least seven (7) years of Kenya work permits.
- Continuous residency for three (3) years preceding the permanent residence application.
- Spouses and children of the mentioned applicants are included.
Requirements for Applicants:
- Proof of lawful residence on work permits for a minimum of seven (7) years.
- Continuous three (3) years residency in Kenya before applying.
- Strong potential for socio-economic contribution, especially for investors and highly qualified professionals.
Documentation:
- Application letter
- Duly filled permanent residence application form (form 23)
- Category B - Questionnaire for Intending Applicants
- Residence status form
- Copy of valid passport
- 2 passport size photographs
- Police Clearance Certificate (Original)
- Copy of valid tax compliance certificate
- Copy of valid foreigner certificate (Alien card)
- Introductory letter from employer (for employees)
Requirements for Spouses:
- Same as above for applicants, plus:
- Certified copy of the marriage certificate
- Copy of dependent pass/work permit(s)
Requirements for Children:
- Same as above for applicants, plus:
- Certified copy of the birth certificate
- Certified copies of the parents' birth certificates
- Copy of dependent pass
Note: All documents must be certified, and a soft copy of photographs is required during the application process.
