CLASS G : INVESTOR PERMIT
For New Applications Requirements:
1. Authorization:
- Original Authorization Letter for KenyaLink Facilitators Limited (if using their services).
2. Immigration Status:
- Copy of Immigration Status if currently in Kenya.

4. Covering Letter:
- Original covering letter on company letterhead addressing THE DIRECTOR OF IMMIGRATION SERVICES.
- Specifies company details, applicant's designation, job activities, and how business benefits Kenya.
5. Photographs:
- Two recent passport-size photographs (not older than 6 months).
6. Passport:
- Copy of passport (biographical page).
7. Proof of Capital:
- Certified proof of capital investment (min USD 100,000 or equivalent in any currency).
- Placed in a local account in the applicant's or company's name.
8. Company Documentation:
- Certified copy of registration certificate or certificate of incorporation.
- Certified copies of Memorandum of Understanding.
- Certified copies of Articles of Association.
- Copies of company PIN if applicable.
9. License/Registration Details:
- Copy/details of required license/registration for the business.
- Proof of obtaining or ability to obtain such license/registration.
10. Clearance Letter:
- ORIGINAL clearance letter from other regulatory bodies if applicable.
11. For Renewals (Additional Requirements):
- Signed audited accounts for the last tax year.
- Copy of Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority.
- List of Kenyans already employed.
- Fees (For Both New and Renewal Applications):
- Processing fee: KES 20,000 (non-refundable)
- Issuance fee:KES 250,000 per year
- Payment only after permit approval with a grace period of a month.
14. Security Bond:
- Submit Security Bond and Security Bond receipt after payment
15. Processing and Endorsement:
- Once payments are submitted, the final permit will be processed and endorsed in the applicant’s passport after a few days.

Note
- Renewal requirement of Tax Compliant Certificate for both employer and applicant
- It is an offence for a person to knowingly mislead an Immigration Officer ( section 53 (1)(a) of Kenya Citizenship and Immigration Act, 2011)
- Additional documents may be requested in addition to the listed
- All citizens of the East Africa Community(Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi) are exempt from payment of the processing and permit fee.
- Where the holder of a work permit ceases to engage in the employment in respect of which the work permit was issued, the employer specified in the work permit shall, within fifteen days from the date of such cessation, report, in writing to the director that the holder has ceased to engage in such employment
