Who Qualifies
Staff of the UN, Diplomatic Missions.
Intergovernmental Organizations or International non-governmental organizations, accredited to neighboring hardship countries and staff based in hardship neighbouring countries of such organizations.
Requirements For New Applications:
- Duly filled and signed Form 25 online form. You will print out the form at the end of the application.
- Two(2) recent passport size colored photos (for both new and renewal)
- Copies of valid national passport (bio-data page)
- Current Immigration status if in the country
- Signed cover letter from the employer/company/organization addressed to the Director General of Immigration Services.
- Proof of employment.
- Organizations Laissez Passer or diplomatic passport.
- Copy of registration certificate of the organization
- Posting letter to the neighbouring country.
- Proof of remuneration for the past three months.

Note
- Renewal requirement of Tax Compliant Certificate for both employer and applicant
- It is an offence for a person to knowingly mislead an Immigration Officer (section 53 (1)(a) of Kenya Citizenship and Immigration Act, 2011).
- Incomplete applications shall not be accepted.
- Additional documents may be requested in addition to the listed.
- Where the holder of a work permit ceases to engage in the employment in respect of which the work permit was issued, the employer specified in the work permit shall, within fifteen days from the date of such cessation, report, in writing, to the director that the holder has ceased to engage in such employment.
- Any employer who contravenes this regulation commits an offence.
