Student Pass
All non-diplomatic foreign nationals attending educational or training institutions in Kenya must obtain a Student/Pupil Pass. This document allows entry and stay for the purpose of receiving education or training at an accepted institution within the country. Ensure compliance for seamless access to educational opportunities in Kenya.
Student Pass Requirements:
1. Authorization Letter:
- Original letter from KenyaLink Facilitators Limited (if using their services).
2. Application Form:
- Original completed Form 30, stamped by the Kenyan school/college/university.
3. Passport Documents:
- Copy of student’s passport (bio data page).
- Copy of student’s current immigration status.
4. Birth Certificate:
- Certified copy of student’s birth or adoption certificate (translated if needed, and notarized).
5. Parents’/Guardians’ Documents:
- Copy of parents’/guardians’ passport (bio data page and visa/permit endorsement).
6. Photographs:
- Two recent passport-size photos (not older than 6 months).
7. Commitment Letter:
- Original commitment letter from parent/guardian/sponsor addressing the Director of Immigration Services, including contact details. Bank statements may be requested.
8. Academic Certificates:
- Certified copies of academic certificates (translated if necessary).
9. Admission Confirmation:
- Original letter from school confirming admission, course details, and duration, addressed to the Director of Immigration Services.
10. Institution Details:
- Copy of the Registration Certificate (Certificate of Incorporation) of the Education Institution.
